Description
In the early 80's, Marvel created a new comic - The New Mutants, the first true spin-off to the highly succesful X-Men series. In The New Mutants, Charles Xavier, dying from an alien attack enlisted the training of nine young mutant students to his ex-partner, and ex-arch-enemy, Erik Magnus Lensherr - the infamous Magneto - in the hope that he would teach them to control their powers and become the New X-Men.
However, with three members of that team killed, and the other 6 butchered and eventually gradually replaced with the hip and happening new X-Force, the comic and characters faded into obscurity, with some of the cahracters shipped off to the orther X-Comics.
Which was a shame, to be honest. So here is my interpretation of Warlock, an extra terrestrial beiung comprised of techno-organic flesh.
In the original comics, Warlock was the progeny of the Magus, the ruler of the Technarchy, a race comporised of flesh-like circuitry. As Technarchy custom dictates, Magus must kill Warlock to live, and vice versa -0 however, unable to kill, Warlock fled to Earth, where he was found by the New Mutants. Bonded to Doug and Rahne, he was able to speak broken English, and could use his strange body to absorb life energy and remold his form. Eventually, he died, then came back as an amalgamation of himself and Doug. Which then turned out just to be Warlock with Doug's memories. Ho Hum.
In my version, Warlock would still be the slightly insane and very confused alien robot space baby he was in the 80's, but after bonding with Doug, a computer expert, he has picked a new language - l33t. Only able to speak in either Broken English or H4x0r, Warlock must rely on his close relationship with doug to get through most of Earth's strange customs. Customs like, life, death, and toilet humour.

I love this. I really like how i got Warlock's quirky personality to fit his crazy design. Which I love. Plus I love having him talk l33t. I am so proud. Chuff.
