When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

The second annual "World" pic, last year's is here - [link]
The aim of the World pictures is to bring together the characters that inhabit The World, the fictional universe created by myself ( I control the Law Side ) , This Year's World picture was meant to represent the characters in dress specific to their storyline, but most of the costumes ended up being non-descript default costumes, as long as they wer'nt the same as last year - woo! --- Scud - The Fifth Element ( Belongs to "Chaos" Scud - On the far left floor ( Mohawk, Shotgun, Egg Baby ) This is Scud dressed in what the real life Scud will probably wear while at uni. woo! "Squished" Scud - On the floor between Veriel and Rade ( Star T-shirt, Happy faces ) This is scud as I remember him - Trenchcoat and Hippy hair. I really like the tin-can telephone idea uniting all 3 Scuds - thanks Ret! "Law" Scud - On the far right floor ( No trousers, Bartender's garb ) This is Scud in his Bartender's gear for "Scud's Bar", the most popular bar in the whole of the world with deities! --- Chaos - The Left Third ( All belong to Cain, Demon of Wrath ( Demonic Visage, Piercings, Horns, Black Wings ) Cain after consuming and merging with his opposite number, Albion. The wings were rushed, but came out nicely. Gelyn, The Enemy ( Floating, Belts, sleeveless top ) The first time I've drawn Gelyn, but he came out nice - I did get the hair wrong though. ungh. Glimmer, Serin's Giant Robot ( Big Robot in Background ) My attempt at a giant Raptor-Orca-Robot forr Serin - more like a Chameleon-bot really, but oh well. Serin, Cyber Otaku ( Hanging off Glimmer, Goggles, "Cyber-suit-thing" ) I seem to havea thing of screwing up Serin - came out nice here, in his pilot gear, but his hair is all wrong. Luciko, Otaku ( Glasses, in Serin's arms ) She looks a little odd, but i like her. Celine, Sin of Lust ( Naked, Long Hair, Wings ) The problem I had with Celine was her nakedness - a few stray bits of hair have saved this picture from a mature classification. Huzzah! Kalorus, God of Chaos ( Topless, Spiky Hair, Tie ) Not much different from last year, but I love him. Taramiya, Priestess of Kalorus ( Corset, leather, Black hair ) Not much to say - leather coirset. woo. K4, Weapon of Chaos ( "Wielder" Tattoo, "Weapon" Sword, HNB Knee pad ) Nondescript look didn't come out perfectly, but oh well. Willow, Child of Kalorus ( Dress, On floor ) I like Willow - Chaos Kid in a dress! Clee, Dead Child ( Belts, Tophat ) My favourite Chaos character in this picture - this is like Dickensian Clee. Dead Child in a Tophat. Gotta love it. --- Neutrality - The Central Third ( All belong to Dust, Wind of Vengance ( Blindfold, Mace, Bandages ) My first interpretation of Dust, an immortal blind warrior who can become his name-sake. Love his mace. Gabriel, Light Force ( White suit, White wing, Bow ) Urk. He looks slightly out of proportion, but I still like how he came out. Ret, Embodiment of Neutrality ( Cloak, Big ) I really like how the big guy himself came out in this, although I really should study musculature. Hagane, Dark Force ( Black suit, Black wing, Black Sword ) See Gabriel, but more bastardly. Veriel, Lucifer's Blueprint ( White suit, Spliff, Cricket bat ) Three Words; Veriel Freakin Rocks. Any afroed, wingless angel dressed in Victorian gear who intakes hideous ammounts of narcotics and still kicks ass with a left-handed cricket bat is cool in my books. Rade, Scion of Humanity ( Jacket, "Hope" Tattoo, Huge Sword ) Rade in WW4 gear. The first character i did on here, and unfortunately for my artistic integrity, probably the best. His Huge sword, "Coup de Grace", reads, in full "VERSUS RET", which is kindof a World Easyter-Egg. heh. Butterfly, Deus Ex Machina ( Grease-stained Trousers, Huge Yin-Yang Pistols, Bandana ) The Child of Nature in his post innocence lost "goid of Machines" form. His guns are a bit too far on the "Hand-Cannon" side, but I still like him. Innocence Lost ( Black Hoodie, Belted trousers, Blood-stained hands) A special guest-appearance from Butterfly's dark alter-ego - supposed to look like a shadow-of-sorts. --- Law - The Right Third ( All characters belong to me - from top to bottom ) Wessex - Memory of Darkness ( Monocle, Crazy hair, Belts, Cape ) Ah, "Mad" Francis Nathanial Wessex - you are a card! Wessex, the dark shadow of the Newvani family who exists almost purely in memory. Here he is in non-descript black-belty-revealing-number #42. this might be what he wears when he fights Dmp using Chapel. Wessex is a living testament to the usefulness of Black copics - much luff to the Q, Lust of Darkness ( Part of Wessex, Boobs, Long Black hair ) Wessex's anima is here supposed to look like a physical part of Wessex's shgadowy essence. I think it at leasyt came off a bit - woo! Jigsaw, Rebirth of Darkness ( Part of Wessex , Disjointed jigsaw body ) Young Dmp's arch-nemesis, a genetically engineered youngster with more Wessex inside him than people should have. Here he is in his final-boss "man-of-pieces" form. Chapel Newvani, Understanding through Violence ( White coat, White Cloak, Scarf, Eyes of fire ) Dmp's violent off-spring turned Priest turned God-Incarnate. Here he is in his "possessed by Wessex with the powers of Religion-Incarnate and fiughting his father" clothes. I really, REALLY like how he came out - I love everything from his "eyes-of-fire" to his little beard. David "dmp" Newvani, Justice for Peace ( Union Jack coat, Sword-stick, Bastard sword, Glasses ) Dmp in his elderly guise of Protector of the United kingdom, ready to fight his son to the death with his twin Swords - Giudeon's sword-stick "Relentless" and Darryll's bastardsword "Defiant". I so want that coat in real life. Mahlicant, Demon of Fear ( Boney, Eyes, Worm-head ) A surprise guest appewarance from fear-incarnate ( yes, I love that word ) , smoking on his cigarette-holder. Guy "Brom" Bromwald - Perfectly Ordered Chaos ( Belts - A lot of them, Scythe, Rose ) My favourite Goth Law-Enforcer in his wedding-day outfit. Rumours that I messed up his mourth and replaced it with him sniffing a rose are complete lies. Bernice Bromwald - Light from Darkness ( Dress, Roses, Belts ) Brom's bride. Not much to say, but I like it. Woo! Gideon Newvani - Justice of Yesteryear ( Cloak, Army uniform, Sword-stick ) Gideon in his army regalia. The cane's a bit blotchy, but i still love him. Darryll Newvani - Despot of Law ( Union Jack Vest, Camo-trousers, M60 ) Darryll in Vietnam Gear. Ok, so his elbows are fat and his face is odd, but I love that gun. Derwent Newvani - Templar of Judgement ( Long Hair, Maltese-Cross shield, Mace, Bow, Chain-Mail ) The most-different looking character, this is the usually bald-trechcoat-addorned Derwent in his Templar gear. I love the complete difference between the two interpretations of the same character - it just adds to his strange personality. |
